They try to forget their troubles through dancing, but it doesn't work.

It's not about dancing, but about singing, and it's not about forgetting, but rather it's just how they express themselves. When they're happy, they sing; when they're sad, they sing; when they're bored, they sing. I don't understand why it's necessary to invent some meaning for simple actions.

Maybe those who don't dance and sing are killing themselves because society mocks and isolates them? It's a great attitude towards life, in general.
