But Dark Magic doesn't work against Wizards, especially since the hero takes a very long time to act, whereas Summoning has such an important skill as Fog Veil (enemy archers' damage and initiative are -10%, and as we know, there are three of those units). So I think Summoning magic is the most suitable against Wizards! And if you take Light, by the time you cast Divine Strength or Stone Skin, half your troops will already be gone.
1) Academics do not have an army strong enough to wipe out elves that quickly.
2) When casting mass blesses, only 50% of initiative is consumed, so a Sylvan hero will make 2 casts before most units (even with artifacts for int) make their 2nd turn.
