I was convinced of this today, by the way. When I was leaving for training, I wanted to go home to get my phone, but I couldn't – the lock wouldn’t let me in. Usually, a shoulder push is enough to restore its functionality, but that didn't help this time, nor did kicking the door or trying to lift it, and even desperate cursing throughout the entire entryway. I gave up on it and went to train. I return home, and realize that I would still like to get into the apartment today. I made the sign of the cross, prayed, gently pushed the door, and it opened!
