I actually liked the faction. They just look like clowns, but otherwise everything is fine, except for the crazy Lanius. And playing as them is more interesting than playing as NCR because of the quests and bonuses (well, if you compare the misery of NCR and the royal gifts from Caesar, the latter is a huge plus).
What I really don't understand is why help House when you can kill him without consequences and become House yourself. It's a pointless branch.
