Tepluijja, no offense, but right now you're acting like a spoiled brat rolling around on the floor in a store, demanding that his mom buy him a toy.
As I understand it, the development of HotA is a non-commercial project created by a team of HoMM 3 enthusiasts. From a legal standpoint, their activities can be equated to amateur modding rather than game development. This means that the project is sustained by pure enthusiasm. Of course, I haven't checked their pockets, but I suspect that the rewards they receive for their work either come from fan donations or are non-existent, which forces the already small team to combine HotA development with earning money from legitimate jobs.
You're demanding results from them as if you were sitting in a restaurant waiting for a dish you ordered and already paid for (even though you don't usually pay before eating in restaurants). This is fundamentally the wrong approach. I won't resort to the pathetic "you get what you deserve" argument; I'll just explain that you shouldn't, excuse my language, shit where you eat.
Moreover, I'm not suggesting that you, figuratively speaking, should just eat whatever they give you. In the place of any fan of the series, I would thank these guys for breathing new life into a game that is, as you noted, seventeen years old, rather than trying to criticize them for imaginary mistakes regarding deadlines and other personal grievances, which are completely unnecessary and subjective.
Regarding the rework of "useless" skills, it's better to think carefully, and not just once, before making changes, than to randomly create a bunch of things and end up with tons of overpowered stuff (like resurrecting with a tent from Wog, for example). The HotA developers see the balance better than many players.
