You're not entirely right, actually. What millions are you talking about? We don't have that many anime fans in Kyiv; I wish there were more. Considering that a third of those who visit anime shops or parties are just people who think anime is trendy or wannabe fans who have watched a couple of titles, there aren't many distinct personalities, fewer than I'd like. But yes, they stand out; I remember each of them and even chatted with some.

Although, of course, there are some truly good, unconventional franchises. But if you look at it as a whole, most anime and manga are made as a copy within a particular genre.
