Game upgrade, issues in this area.

Since the fifth installment isn't coming out anytime soon, and my internet connection doesn't allow me to download the beta (700MB), I'm playing around with the fourth game. Everyone knows how to make maps. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to create custom creatures, and if so, what tools are used? If you know of any links where I can download these tools, please let me know.
