Question about the map "Longest Journey".

So, I reached Solmyr in game 3-4-7 and, with some difficulty, won (actually, it was more luck – I somehow blinded everyone and started taking them out one by one). After the victory, I wondered if it makes sense to continue playing without the Fire Magic skill. In other words, will I be able to complete the map without using the Berserk spell at its highest level?

P.s. I know I reached Solmyr very late, so please don't tell me that!
