What am I getting at? That the harm is exaggerated, and there's no addiction.

From personal experience, I can say that there really is no addiction. Based on my older sister's experience, who after a week without cigarettes experienced terrible stress, felt unwell, and even started having suicidal thoughts, I can say that for some individuals, this thing does cause quite a strong addiction.
