This is what I really can't understand. Are you feeling bad that "all sorts of jerks" aren't checking out girls, which means they're not competition, and therefore you have a better chance of finding your one and only? Or are you worried that they'll steal your boyfriend?
You should be happy that the competition is lower and the line for girls is shorter, but no. You're unhappy about something.
