You managed to reach level 36 in the first mission!? How did you do it?

Yes, there weren't any particular problems – I just killed the main character and all the neutrals at the top (and destroyed all the outposts), which got me to level 35. I gained another level in the tree of knowledge, and the other two trees were left untouched. (The final cutscene is attached; the lost battles were when the white and red witches fought against the elven scout – the red witch with "Berserk," and the white witch simply as bait so that Railag wouldn't chase after him as much).

If you weren't limited, could you have reached level 38? In the second mission, will your hero start at level 36?

Maybe even level 39 (because I still had to defeat the elven guardian, capture Utopia, where there were 500 different dragons, and have a good fight in the Dungeon with the orange and red factions). But yes, I started at level 36, but in the labyrinth, he was split down to level 25, and his stats were reset. Now he's leveling up again to 27 and slowly starting to recover (there haven't been any losses in this mission yet).
