In the first battle in the center near the end of the 2nd week, I killed almost all of Straker's units, including 300 skeletons; he bought back the remnants of his champions and archers. He bought up to 131 and aimed to flee from the center into an unexplored zone, where he revealed a Griffin Conservatory, but then Straker struck back with a devastating buy-up from 2 castles. He could have tried to outplay — he had Mass Slow, Shield, and Skin, plus a Blessing for 200 Troglodytes, but lacked Haste, which ultimately decided the outcome. Thanks for the game!
