But who, where, and what are they criticizing? I haven't done anything bad to SoD, it seems. Only good things. At least, I tried. I have been working on Heroes (on HD) for almost 8 years now. All this huge amount of time and effort could have been spent on self-improvement, personal growth, on increasing well-being, but I chose to please you. I understand the jealousy and resentment towards SoD. But SoD simply ceased to interest me after a certain point. What can I do about it? But Hota is interesting. Hota is the development of SoD. Hota includes SoD. And, unlike it, it can (and will) become better, get rid of problems, and develop further. SoD is an inevitable stagnation. Yes, Hota is being made by people with their own ideas about how it should be. And these ideas, of course, may not coincide with yours. I don't like everything in Hota either. But it is impossible to make a game (and even more so a mod for a recognized hit, a classic) in which everything would please everyone, in which there would be nothing that at least someone would not like. I can close my eyes to some things and even come to terms with them (after experiencing indignation and internal struggle) in order to enjoy the rest. If you can't, then: - I feel a little sorry for you; - these are your problems, not Hota's problems; - unfortunately, no one can help you with this. Well, and no one is forcing you to play it, and no one is taking SoD away from you. *** For the first time in my life, I played online with HD 5.0. How cool is that! I would never have done this in my life with the scheme adopted here. I simply don't have time for this. It took me 2.5 hours (Moscow time) to find an opponent + play the game, and out of about 25 people online who were not playing, there were about 7 people, of whom no one was ready to play at that moment. I think there are many people like me who have limited time and do not want to deal with Hamachi, unnecessary ICQ, and so on. Oh, I wish it would be finished and officially launched soon...
