Considering that the pair was ramp-necr, I was fine with this.
We chose different development paths, but eventually at one point we started taking identical Dragon Utopia. They didn't get control in them, and then we split off in different directions. The opponent got a gladius and КО in the Dragon Utopia, while in the 3rd one I found an air book, my favorite hat, and also a TP scroll. Alkin didn't bring earth, but the support was good, and by building the Mage Guild, I gained an advantage.
At the beginning of the week, I made another support from duplicates, hoarded, and wiped them out within reach, having an advantage in army and stats.
