Surprisingly, I partially agree with Alex. Those who haven't had the opportunity to experience the positive changes in the quality of life and everything else will still be sad and feel down, even without fully realizing how much worse things could be (and according to international happiness rankings, I think Korea and Japan are actually below Russia, lol).
