I haven't completed any fan-made maps. I only played the official ones, but that was 15 years ago. Since then, I've been drawing and modifying official maps, and sometimes playing campaigns – but not to the end. Besides, I was also distracted by Heroes I and Heroes II – there was plenty to do. I remember one official map. At the beginning, you were given one hero, and right in front of him was a Dwarf castle. You had to accumulate 10 million gold in a year. The map was long and difficult to complete. In the end, I got stuck in an impassable lava field... my hero didn't have "keen sight," which increases the viewing radius. There was nowhere to go. I just waited for the "treasure chest" to enrich me by 10% each week. Fortunately, that happened... The winning condition was met.
