The layout was terrible, 6k guards from gr shooters along the road. The wood mine was in the middle of nowhere. Aislin arrived, I decided to level her to at least get something going. But she got Necromancy and leveled it to Advanced at level 10. So I leveled her as an earth magic specialist with attack. Running off-road, I entered an area bordering Orange and Grey. It was clear there would be contact with the opponent. I went to kill the Orange dungeon. The road to it was very long. On turn 12 I killed the (AI) computer. There were 2 Minotaur nests there. I took them and set up a portal. Money was tight, I traded at two markets. Then I saw the opponent running towards the scout hero. I could reach the Consulate, so I took it. It turned out to be a Double (resource). Then the opponent attacked me. Thanks to Meteor Showers, we traded so that the opponent had 4 Evil Eyes left, while I had 10 Archers and 4 Minotaurs on turn 12. It was a repeat in miniature of the previous game. Only I had no control. That decided it. I couldn't cast control because I had already traded resources. I had to field Minotaurs and played with them. Until turn 14 the opponent was doing something clever. I took Grey's Castle from him and saw he was sitting in one castle. In the end, I attacked him with 34 Minotaurs, 12 Manticores, and Skeletons. But he got Anti-Magic at level 3 and fielded 24 Dragons. Otherwise, there would probably have been another trade-down to almost nothing, with better prospects for me. But I shouldn't have played so casually.
