You wouldn't believe what people throw out of their windows. The other day, a slipper flew past my window. I later saw my neighbor from the eighth floor laughing at himself in front of the building. It turned out that the slipper was his, and he had thrown it at a crow that had been cawing persistently outside his window. He hit it. Our crows are tough, so after being hit, the crow flew off to caw in a nearby tree, and he had to go downstairs to retrieve the slipper. While he was walking, the cats living in our basement used the slipper as a toilet, but he still brought it home and washed it. His cat, smelling the foreign scent even in the washed slipper, started marking its territory in every corner, and the smell in the apartment became unbearable. Now, the guy is seriously considering moving.
