I turned off emotions some time ago. It doesn't make any difference anyway; only one out of a hundred players greets you, while the rest either stay silent, taunt, or think you're taunting them. What's the point of having these emotions then?
To taunt and, while burning with righteous fire, crush enemies and taunt them even more.
Actually, in Heroes sometimes it's nice when you and another player exchange funny "wow" emotes. It's a great emote, better than "sorry," but I wouldn't refuse "sorry" either.
