Getting back to tea, or rather, the teapot (referring to me):D. I'm playing SoD because my computer doesn't seem to recognize WoG maps, or am I mistaken? Honestly, I don't know what the difference between them is.
WoG is basically pointless; there's no point in sitting and trying to figure it out. Although, they say that Salamandre has very good maps for WoG that are just as good as the best SoD scenarios. I haven't checked it myself.
