The Lord of the Rings

I disagree. Here I approve of Jackson's decision. This little war in the book is what I find most objectionable. It completely contradicts the spirit and idea of the book, I don't know why Tolkien wrote it:smile48:

A little war in the book?! The entire Lord of the Rings is centered around warfare, on the idea of the exodus of the elves, and the establishment of humanity as not the strongest, but the most resilient race that outlasted everyone. With the end of the war, the elves vanished! The war with Sauron COMPLETELY changed the world (except perhaps for the hobbits who are impenetrable), it drew in all the peoples of Middle-earth, and it also shows the rebirth of the world in the form of the blooming Tree-I-don't-remember-the-name. No matter what happens, life goes on.

And who said that War of the Ring is a bad game? I liked it, for example.

No one said that; I just said that it is Warcraft-like and moderately interesting.
