Well, some people might not like Pushkin's poems, and they might have a personal opinion that Pushkin wrote poorly.

That's not exactly what I meant. Take a look at the prices at which authentic paintings from the past are sold to private collectors. That's where "elitism" really comes into play, which is not the case when collecting something modern.
