Technical issues with Heroes III.

So, this isn't a technical issue: SOD itself doesn't display that information; you're clearly playing with the HD mod and are used to its conveniences, not knowing what the original game interface looks like. But that's understandable: many who used to know have already forgotten it; the HD mod, with all its conveniences, undoubtedly reigns supreme.

Does the HD mod show it? If it does, that's a shame. This is already a distortion of the gameplay, where there should be an element of risk.

If you want to calculate everything in advance, what's the point of playing? You turn on several calculators, auxiliary utilities, and your opponent does the same. You figure out in advance who should win, and then you go your separate ways...
