and you also need to be able to draw and sew, understand how a particular fabric will drape in a particular case, how different fabrics differ from each other, what they can do and what they cannot, etc.
In my opinion, with a creative mind, it's better to be a stylist. Although it's not a fact that they don't need some other knowledge there.
