Adding custom heroes without replacing the default ones.

I want to add my own hero with his OWN unique skill (taken, for example, from another faction – let's say, add the Guardian Angel skill from the Haven faction to a hero from the Sylvan faction).
Is it possible to do this without replacing the standard heroes?
