[Tournaments-HotA] Game of Thrones

Royal Battle is a tournament to test battle skills against neutral creatures.

All participants in the tournament will start simultaneously from the same save, where they need to complete 8 battles. The progress of the battles is recorded on video.

The save will not be shown to anyone before the tournament; players will complete it on their first attempt (without save-loading).

2 hours are allotted for the 8 battles, which is the amount of time the player has on the timer from the start. All battles must be completed on day 111; it is not allowed to continue on the next day. If the timer runs out during a battle, the result of the battle is counted.

If a battle is going well for the player (positive morale), the first 3 rounds cannot be used; the repeated turn of the demoralized stack must be skipped. From the 4th round onwards, morale can be used.

The order of battles is arbitrary (but I recommend starting with easy battles, because the timer may suddenly run out in a difficult battle).

After completing the game, the player should save the game and immediately send it to the host's email.

The video recording of the game does not need to be sent immediately, but it should be kept and sent to the host for verification if the player wins a prize.

The tournament will be held in three groups:
Group A - players from the 1st and 2nd tiers
Group B - players from the 3rd and 4th tiers
Group C - players from the 5th and 6th tiers
Outcasts can freely assign their players to groups (Aive in Group A).

The starting save is different for each group. Prize points are also awarded separately for each group.

The result of a battle is the percentage of troops saved. If a player loses a battle, their result is the percentage of remaining neutral creatures with a minus sign. For example, if you killed 180 griffins out of 200, the result of your battle will be -10%. For battles that could not be completed (due to the timer), the result is considered a loss without losses for the neutral creatures (-100%).

The player's result in the tournament is the average percentage across all 8 battles.

Points are awarded as follows:
1st place - 0.5
2nd place - 0.4
3rd place - 0.3
bonus for the best battle - 0.06 (8 times)

Since each team can have 2 players in each group, the team's result is considered the result of the player who performed better. However, the bonus for the best battles for the player who performed worse is not lost, but added to the team's result.

Thus, one player can score a maximum of 0.5 + 0.06*8 = 0.98 points in the tournament if they complete all 8 battles better than the others.

The team can score a maximum of 0.98*3 = 2.94 points in the tournament.

Team coordinators should contact the host and agree on a time that is convenient for everyone to hold the tournament. Full attendance is not required; it is enough for each team in each group to have a representative. That is, 50% of the team is enough.

At the appointed time, all participants in the tournament come to the host's stream, a roll call is held, and assignments are given. The host shows the starting save and answers questions. Then, he posts a link to the save in the chat of his stream, and the players begin the game.

The video recording should be started BEFORE the link appears in the chat of the host's stream. That is, the video should show the moment the link appears, its download, the loading of the save, and all 8 battles without interruption.

The method of recording video is arbitrary, the main thing is that it can be presented to the host. If the recording is missing or does not meet the requirements, the player's result will be canceled.

The host may also cancel the result of a player if suspicions arise about unfair play.
