1. Yes, I don't know what mythology they draw creatures from. I don't understand why they can't give normal names to ordinary units. There are two options:
- give the name of an order, cult, organization, etc. Example: Bear Paw swordsman, Brown Banner archers;
- give the name of a unit (I don't know how to say it correctly), by analogy with the "Imper" brigade from Sapkowski. Example: "Wasp" crossbowmen, "Alpha" engineers;
- give the name of the place of residence. Example: Northern raiders, mages from Holyflame;
- or you can just choose words from the rich Russian language or come up with something.
2. They will be armed, I think, with daggers.
The basic version is ready, the upgrade will be in basilisk hide armor, the alternative will be in leather armor and a skull mask.
The basic versions can be called thieves (like members of a thieves' guild are traditionally called, even though half of them are assassins), the upgrade can be linked to some specific organization (I haven't come up with a name yet), and the alternative will be from the Black Fang gang
