You place him on turn 3, and on turn 4, Blood throws out Belfigor, and you evolve him in response and send him right back. But in reality, this can happen at best once during the entire game. First, this jerk doesn't have many chances to appear in the early rounds of the game; second, Blood won't just stand there; he'll either kill, defend, heal, or do all of the above at once, because there are plenty of tools available. And third, he might not finish off the Vampire, but instead help him enter Vengeance and make things even worse.
