On the first day, Nagash got lucky with a couple of Expert Necromancer chests. Relying solely on intuition, he decided to play around it. Everything else was bad.
The exit from the starting area (!) was blocked. There were no air creatures. No ore.
Not even one more decent hero in the starting area. No money. No mercury. No birds would spawn – not at all. He wandered around, cutting down skeletons in the starting area, 1-6 in the fort. Towards the end of the first week, he managed to reach a stash of Psychics. And only at the beginning of the second week did he leave the starting area... Drowned? No! :smile27:
Can one Necromancer outweigh all the circumstances against you?
The autopsy revealed that it couldn't. :D
By the time of the encounter, at level 133 / final level 134, the opponent already had full control, and in the final battle, Ciel attacked Nagash, who was holed up in a border rampart castle, wearing a blue hat, with a mana pool of 340 and speed of 9, against a mana pool of 140 and speed of 9, combat stats of 8-9 against 9-5. He had an implant of 950. My strongest bolt was 235, and in general, I only had garbage spells above level 2.
In terms of total HP, his army was ~4000, mine was ~5000, and I had absolutely nothing to defend against his 32 ducks. But the final battle was one of those that makes us love the game.
:smile44:
To be honest, the game was hopeless. Even taking into account that I managed to find the only chance in the final battle, before that chance, the opponent made a series of unnecessary mistakes to give me that chance.
