RedHeavenHero, it could be even more interesting: instead of destroying the stats of an opponent's artifacts, you could take them for yourself, as if drawing the power of the artifacts to yourself.

I agree - it's unfair when a special ability is not applicable in most cases for one hero, and always applicable for another (by the way, I think Direal and Letos are also disadvantaged - their special ability is useless against the undead).
Undead are only about 1/8 of the game. Not that much. Other heroes are in a much worse situation.
