Afterwards I ran around, realized the opponent wasn't in the adjacent zones, and also Earth View showed that my resources were small. Accordingly, on 127 I took a level 3 Conservatory, broke into an adjacent zone, and decided to run to the opponent through 10-19 groups of monsters (plus I saw through Air View that all his heroes were far away). Thanks to super-Tazar, I broke through them, sacrificing only half of the Gnolls, almost all the Serpents, and a few Basilisk. Then on the next turn I took his Citadel. The opponent was finishing farming part of the treasure zone, and then ran to me. I holed up in the Citadel, thinking he wouldn't attack and I would catch him in the open field. But he attacked. Despite 10 Birds, he didn't have anything else significant. So the battle was one-sided. It's interesting what would have happened in the open field, but I think I would have won anyway.
