Dark Ages

Scrum didn't understand anything. Who are all these people, what do they want from him, and what is even happening... He was sitting quietly in his hut, and then some gloomy brutes showed up, started poking him with sharp objects, and when they saw how quickly everything healed on him, they grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and took him to the city, which he had previously been wary of approaching.

Then they said something about the emperor and all that, but the goblin didn't listen - picking at his ear turned out to be a much more interesting activity. He only understood that they wouldn't let him return home. Scrum was somewhat dismayed by this turn of events. When they finally left him alone, the goblin decided to do something he understood and went where it smelled like food.
