I didn't say it's impossible – it's just that a dragon has morale of 1, and an archangel has 2, which means that, according to probability theory, on a given turn, the archangel will be able to move twice and, assuming the opponent is a dragon, attack it twice in one turn, only receiving one attack in return.
Do you even know what "morale +1 or +2, etc." means? Let's figure that out first, and then we can argue!

Well, I didn't say that immunity is bad, and it's not just about good... there's also bloodlust, prayer, accuracy, magic resistance (they are used not only for their direct purpose but also to increase priority), executioner, or frenzy.
And regarding magic, and your "super spells": you could also mention stone skin :D – it's all garbage! Armageddon will replace them all :)
