Not every person is capable of enduring life in the Necropolis; many students flee from Nar-Erish and become occultists – mercenary mages. Although they cannot summon undead creatures, they should be feared: many overconfident warlords have lost their entire army to magical fists and plague clouds.

Free Mages
The Blades of Wind consist not only of Storm Guardians: a group of mages calling themselves the Order of the Storm has a garrison in Stormcliff and some other cities. The mages of the order are often hired for military operations on the islands of Pao, as the magic of Ilat's followers works well against both orcs and nagas.
Why do their faces contrast so much with the hood, i.e., you can clearly see pixels right along the edge of their faces?!
