SOCHI 2014

Hosting the Olympics is a very expensive undertaking. Especially a Winter Olympics in Sochi. The government invested a huge amount of money in rebuilding the Russian city of Sochi...

Why didn't they build a perfect Olympic village after the first failed attempt, so they could win the second time? We wanted to host the Olympics more and didn't pay anyone anything.

1 - So what happened that we failed to host the 2012 Olympics? After all, it wouldn't have required as much investment in Moscow...
2 - Listen, did we really not want to bring the 2012 Olympics to Moscow? Just remember what the competitors were like back then and what they are like now! Back then: London, Paris, Madrid! Now: Pyongyang, Salzburg, Borjomi... there were essentially no competitors....
