I drove myself, got a little sleep, and took Kostya and Ksyusha to the airport on time; I think they're already home. Even our traffic police were in a good mood: on the way home from the airport, at one of those awful interchanges on the highway, a car went straight from a lane with a left turn, ending up in the oncoming lane. Right into the hands of the officers with their magic wands and dashcams. It was a clear case for a license suspension, but after a friendly chat, the officers selflessly wrote a different violation in the report, so instead of 4-6 months without a license, I'll only lose 750 rubles. That's what the "heroic spirit" does. Our traffic police are the best in the world!
