It was a pretty tough match, but there were no drowns or magic (which he started building later), so I decided to pressure my opponent with AoTD and attacked his town. But my opponent had an implant that almost wiped out my entire army. I was left with only a stack of cyclops and a few horses, while he had a stack of skeletons. I bought my way out.
Then, my opponent tried to retaliate and got caught in a hit-and-run with shooters. After thinning out the skeleton stack a bit, he attacked with his main force and finished me off.
As it turned out later, my opponent had a 5th-level hat and a Crown of Valor.
