Yes, there is an animation (Beatrice had one with her raising her arms and shouting "War!" - it was made based on Beatrice).

In general, the animations are interesting - the upgraded human monk shoots in an interesting way - a bunch of lightning falls from above, the Necromancer's level 7 looks not very good visually, but the attack animation is cool - hands appear from under the ground, the worm from the abyss is well done (in the sense that it's unlikely to be done better, given the existing animation limitations).
