Patch
Olden Era
Patch #12 (v. 0.80.34) has been released for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. The update is designed as a small continuation of Patch #11: it does not include any major system changes, but focuses on bug fixes, stability improvements, and fine-tuning the affected modes.
First of all, several crashes that could occur in Tournament and network matches have been fixed. Jebus Tournament should no longer crash if there is no starting hero, when a hero is hit while under the effect of Mirage, or when an opponent exits Arena Mode during ability targeting.
The Heroic Strike hotkey has also been fixed, and the match timer should now correctly stop counting down for both players if simultaneous turns are interrupted.
In terms of balance, the excessive weakening of magic heroes in Arena Mode has been partially compensated: the Sorcery skill has been strengthened, damage dealers have been adjusted, and the initial sets of creatures in the draft phase have been reduced.
Minor adjustments have been made to map generation: Stables are now completely blocked on the Sprint template, starting zones and guard strength in Jebus Tournament have been slightly reduced, and Point of Balance objects should no longer appear in the side areas of players on Helltide.
A bug in the Chinese localization for Angels and Archangels has also been fixed. The full list of changes can be found on Steam: Patch #12: Bug Fixes & Improvements.
