A random map template for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, created in HeroesWorld RMG Template Builder v1.2.8.

How this will play:

• 2 players on a 192x192 map: wide exploration before major fights.
• Mirror: every player gets a symmetric, comparable position.
• Neutral stacks are standard; border guards are standard.
• Resources are at 145% and structures at 100%, so expansion feels rich.
• Single hero mode focuses the match on one main hero per player.
• Classic victory: defeat opponents normally.
• Players never share a direct border — neutral zones always separate them.
• Roads connect zones, so travel between them reads clearly in-game.
• Player castles share a matched faction.
• Each player gets a nearby spot to claim early — say a second town or a few mines — a short way from their main town.
• Each player starts with mines near their castle: 2× sawmill, 2× ore, 2× gold, 3× rare.
• Each neutral castle zone holds 1 castle to capture.
