A random map template for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, created in HeroesWorld RMG Template Builder v1.2.8.

How this will play:

• 4 players on a 208x208 map: balanced space for scouting and conflict.
• Jebus / Spider: a rich, heavily-guarded central zone everyone fights over.
• Neutral stacks are brutal; border guards are brutal.
• Resources are at 195% and structures at 150%, so expansion feels rich.
• Each player starts with a hero cap of 4, rising +1 per castle up to 8.
• Classic victory: defeat opponents normally.
• Players never share a direct border — neutral zones always separate them.
• Roads connect zones, so travel between them reads clearly in-game.
• Each player gets a nearby spot to claim early — say a second town or a few mines — a short way from their main town.
• Each player starts with mines near their castle: 1× sawmill, 1× ore, 3× gold, 4× rare.
• Faction laws level at 200% and astrology at 200% of the normal speed.
• Neutral castles is set to 1, but no castle-bearing neutral zones exist yet — raise a neutral castle tier under Advanced settings.
