I accidentally created a problem – now the Dwarves have cavalry, which means they are quite ready for combat in open areas... so, logically, they should also develop long-range firearms, and we already have a cannon that ignores armor, which makes close-combat infantry useless, so we need to justify why firearms haven't replaced melee fighters....
