padonkoff Hello, could you please help me? I can't seem to create a mod. For example, I want to make a mod where demonesses get ranged attacks without a penalty. Here's what I'm doing:
1. I extract the InfernalSuccubus.xdb file from the data archive using an archiver, using the absolute path extraction method, i.e., GameMechanics\Creature\Creatures\Inferno.
2. I remove the read-only attribute from the InfernalSuccubus.xdb file.
3. In the file, I change the value from Range-2 to Range-1 and add Item>ABILITY_NO_RANGE_PENALTY to the Abilities menu.
4. I save the file.
5. I archive the extracted folder.
6. I change the extension from zip to h5u.
7. I put the file in the user mods folder.
8. Nothing changes.

What am I doing wrong? I removed the ranged attack penalty for demonesses. It works in my game, so just compare my .xdb file with yours, and you'll find the reason.
