After defeating Orlando Arantir, he didn't kill him, even though he probably deserved it. Instead, Arantir imprisoned the demon lord, but he himself fell into a trap. However, this didn't pose a significant problem for him. The main problem is Orlando, who is trying to escape from his prison. To finally get rid of the problems, Arantir must kill Orlando and destroy his prison.
Actually, I don't know what happened to Orlando in the game after his defeat by Arantir. So, this story is just something I made up
