I invite all fans of offline tournaments for Heroes III to take part in a friendly competition that I've named "Time of Change".
I think the rules will seem familiar to you:

General Tournament Rules:

1. To participate in the Heroes 3 Tournament, you must register on our website and leave an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes 3 The Shadow of Death with patch 3.2.

3. The goal of the game is to complete the map with the maximum number of points.
In case of a tie in points, the second qualifying criterion is the number of days; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.

4. Discussion of the tournament during its progress is FORBIDDEN!!!
If the organizer or their assistant becomes documented proof of tournament discussion anywhere on the Internet, they have the right to permanently exclude such player(s) from participating in tournaments at www.heroesworld.ru. The results of such players will not be counted and will be annulled.
The tournament organizer also reserves the right to conclude that a discussion took place between players if players from one clan completed the tournament in exactly the same way.

5. Use of any cheats or bugs during the final Walkthrough is prohibited. The result will be annulled.

In case of a "+5 monsters X" week or "monster X" month, the player must not replay the transition of the week/month.

6. It is forbidden: to use cheating programs, codes, as well as additional software that can change the game structure.

7. In case of suspicion of a player cheating or other own malicious intent while completing the map, it is necessary to make a save before every significant event (for example, before a battle, before hiring another hero). The result of a player who played dishonestly, as well as one who failed to send their description (saves) on time at the request of the tournament organizer, will be annulled and further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also reflect poorly on their reputation.

8. Sequence of actions for participating in the tournament:

1. Download the save.

2. The downloaded Save must be placed on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes 3.

3. Load it and start playing at any time convenient for you, while remembering to make intermediate saves (at least - at the end of each game day).

4. After completing up to the last action (after which victory occurs), save again.
The sent save must contain only one hero (others should simply be dismissed).

5. A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional).

6. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

7. Wait for the results.

9. Final saves should be sent to the address [email protected].

10. The tournament starts on 14.01.2008 and will last until 15.02.2008 (including up to 24-00 Moscow time). Only one final save is accepted from the player.
Results will be published no later than 20.02.2008.

Additionally, leave a message in this thread stating that you have sent the save.

After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:
save accepted - by bold Nick.
save counted - by green bold Nick.
save not counted - by red bold Nick.

I strongly recommend:
1. Study the "Logistics. Map Movement Features" section in the "Physics of the Heroes World" guide; without this knowledge, you will not complete the map.
2. Thoroughly scout the map: it can be VERY helpful in the end...
