It is the year 981. Inquisitor Dominic, a loyal priest of the Unicorn Empire and servant of Elrath, disappeared in Erathia under mysterious circumstances. Rumor has it that the righteous inquisitor went to the Spider Stronghold at the behest of Archbishop Melchior in search of a certain Tome of Dark Magic, an ancient artifact created by the Faceless Ones themselves...
However, the new head of the Emerald Inquisition - Alaric, formerly an archer-hunter in the forests of the Duchy of the Deer, and now a zealous servant of Elrath, makes no secret of his intention to find the Tome and begins to pursue all those suspected of involvement in Dark Magic.
And as if Fate itself decided to play a cruel joke - Knight Hafaad falls under suspicion…
