Soft snow was falling slowly, quietly increasing the already large drifts. The snowflakes sparkled in the sun like glitter, giving the landscape a fairytale appearance. Suddenly, one of the drifts stirred and a large hatch opened, leading deep into the earth. From it, soldiers of the dwarven army quickly began to emerge and form into squads. The warriors were all alike - strong, stocky, dressed in forged armor. An old black raven, perched on top of a tall spruce tree, watched all this action. "The little guys are definitely preparing for war; there will be something to feast on!" thought the raven.
Meanwhile, the squads set off towards the bridge.
The raven followed them with an attentive gaze and, smoothly flapping its wings, leisurely flew after them.
