You will have to play as Necropolis or Inferno.
Initially, you are given two castles, and you will have to advance across the map, either with the first hero from the first castle or with the second hero from the second castle. It's a bit confusing, but interesting. Fight to the fullest! I'm ready to fix any issues; this is a trial version.
Important: In the second castle, you need to build a tavern and hire a hero immediately!
