"Messenger"

While in the Griffin Empire, Varens, an ordinary priest, was studying the Claw Library. One day he came across a scroll that mentioned the Book of Changes – a powerful artifact created long ago in the Age of Legends by great mages of the vanished state of Shantir. The scroll, unfortunately, was almost burned and all that could be made out were lines describing how Sar-Ilam used the Book of Changes to create Shio - a prison for demons. Undoubtedly, such a great artifact will help the Griffin Empire in its fight against the rebels.
Another scroll spoke about the fact that the Book is kept by the dwarves. Therefore, at the first opportunity, Varens sets off to Grimheim under the guise of Alaric's retinue to find out more about the Book...
