I read a funny thread on the forum where people discuss fighting against the Necromancer, especially in his late and extremely rare super-late game stage.
And recently I played an online game where my tower battle against the Necromancer dragged on, and in the final battle (end of the second month), the Necromancer fielded almost 9000 skeletons, while also having collected the Vial of Life, meaning each skeleton had 10 HP.
Of course, I know that experienced players will immediately say that this was a noobish game and that they would have destroyed the tower much earlier with the Necromancer.
My opponent would have done the same, but the GO from the crowd of Phoenixes was too strong, and he went around to attack on the fourth week with 2000 skeletons and the Book of Earth Magic, with a lot of mana and good spell power.
I knew this because on the third week I dug up the Grail and saw all his movements.
Knowing that he would have a powerful damage explosion and seeing the location of all the artifacts, I raised the Cloak of Spell Resistance above level 2.
With 2000 skeletons and the explosion, my opponent calmly attacked my castle with all his troops and the Pope.
And failed, naturally.
He bought himself out.
And decided that time was working for him, given how developed his Vidomina was.
However, the map revealed by the Grail allowed me to collect the Statue of the Legion.
As a result, despite the insane stats and huge number of skeletons, time worked in my favor.
But maybe enough words already.
Here is the map and the save file , right after collecting the Statue of the Legion; I made it because I managed to collect it for the first time.
Unfortunately, the final battle wasn't saved.
But believe me, victory was mine!
